Mandatory Tools for a Windows HAM PC

After trying to use my Macbook now for a while as a HAM Radio PC – I had to admin it is much easier to use a Windows PC as a HAM Radio PC. So I moved back to a small PC (Lenovo ThinkCentre) as a HAM Radio PC in my shack.

Some of the mandatory tools are:

ComPortMan from Uwe Sieber

This allows you to properly control the many COM ports of a Windows PC and make them persistent.

NTP Client from Meinberg

This allows for proper time-sync of your PC – something absolutely mandatory for running digital modes likes WSJT
